I've driven multiple vehicles with auto-stop/start technology and the Palisade has one of the better systems. It's always been back on before my foot had time to move from the brake pedal to the gas pedal. And it can be sort-of be controlled by how hard you push the brake pedal (lighter press won't trigger it).
