Noctua NH-D15 + Case Fans Help. Hello! I have a TD500 Mesh case. I am using a 10900K with Z490 E Gaming motherboard and 3080 FE GPU. RAM is Vengeance LPX. The TD500 Mesh case comes with 3 front fans pre installed. I will be using the NH-D15 for CPU air cooler.
The noctua charts will have a nspr rating for their coolers. Yes, the NH-D15s is a touch less capable than the NH-D15, but still plenty capable. And, one can add a front fan to improve cooling, but tests show it only helps by 2c. I did not bother since cooling is not an issue for me.

The fan bracket is designed for a 140mm fan, it just looks a little stretched when used with 120mm. I kept the big fan in the middle of mine since it has no issue going all the way down. The D15 fan is the A15 with the same hole spacing as a 120mm fan, there will be no stretching. Single 140mm is sufficient.
