A reply to your question. of course you can get a supercharger for 4cyl 1.616v but it wont be the belt driven one. but you can get an electric 1 witch is better requires no maintenance and doesn't put pressure or use engine power. you can get one off ebay just look for electric supercharger. it looks like a turbo with a motor attached to it instead of exaust simply connect to battery and Hiya Guys. Remove the old bulb. Use a flat screwdriver. Check the condition of the bulb holder terminals. Replace if necessary. Replacement: headlight bulb – VW GOLF IV (1J1). AUTODOC recommends: Clean the bulb mounting seat on the holder. Step 5. Install a new bulb into the holder.
Have don some searching and I'm inquiring if any has taken a GTI 1.6 and swap on a 16V head on it. Nothing has popped up with any info on it in the search and would be an interesting little conversion. Would like o see what HP numbers it would make but would like to know if it is possible first
