I know playing a FPS with a controller on PC is blasphemy, but the way the key binds are in this game will make it extremely hard to play. I'm one of the odd ones who use the direction keys to move as opposed to WASD. I decided to try a controller, but for some reason the game won't recognize the controller when every other game I play does(not that many). Is there any fixes that I could do to Thanks for the help, I'll hopefully get it working soon! Gaming from the link is my only real chance to play nowadays, when the family are asleep my PC isn't in the best spot, whereas the convenience of the SL is awesome! This worked for me getting my XBox 360 controller to function without having a second controller plugged in but it still lacked the reverse/descend functionality. I managed to get that working by first going into Steam-Far Cry-Properties-Contolller set to "forced off".

The controller keybindings are not changeable in this game. There is no way to change the keybindings for the controller. Hey, as mentioned by Code Phox they did not seem to have a button on the keyboard, this is why we asked if they can check what key it is set to in the key bindings menu. You can add FH in Steam as a "non-Steam local game" and launch it from there, your Steam controller settings and other basic functionality will be kept even if a game is non-Steam. 1.
