I have Fenix 5s Plus which is just over 2 years old. The battery charge life has dropped significantly over the past month and currently will no longer hold a charge. My ~3yo Fenix 5S Plus suddenly started draining battery much quicker than before (100% to zero in 24h with no activity and all sensors off). I used to be able to go for a week without charging. I cannot tell what triggered the change, if anything at all.
Fenix 5 S Plus teardown for battery replacement. Hi all. Little introducion. I am looking for a 5S Plus due to small wrists. But as i can see on youtube, there is a possibility to replace the battery by opening the case through the 5 screws in the beezel. But the 5S has a smaller beezel but no visible screws to remove the font plate of the watch.I have the 5 plus, not the s and music destroys it. I can get about a week of battery with 24/7 wearing, lifting, and trail runs recorded but the few times I've ran intervals of about 3 miles with music, that killed over 10% of the battery in 20 minutes.
