The Citroën Grand C4 Picasso, launched in 2007, is a long-wheelbase sister model to the regular C4 Picasso. This seven-seat MPV people carrier has an enormous cabin that's also very strikingly designed. But how does it stack up as a family car? Find out in our full road test review.
On these vehicles the Battery Charge Status Unit is attached to the negative cable of the battery. It is responsible for monitoring the battery health and temperature and it uses this data to advise the BSI in the application of the energy management of the vehicle (fine tuning of the economy mode).
I love my Citroen c4 Grand picasso. Bought it new in Sept 2009 - and it is great. Only had to take it in to the garage once (servicing aside) for a glitch in the battery fuse. Other than that it's been great. Bought it originally as it was one of only a few cars which had the three full sized seats in the back.
Our latest reliability data shows the Grand C4 Picasso with a reliability rating of 95.2%, which is respectable. In the same survey, Citroen as a brand ranked well, at 11th out of 30
The wonderful Citroen specialist is Jeff, and yes you're right, the charming front desk guy (Tony) tends to firewall Jeff. I'll give Colliers a call tomorrow and ask them for their advice. I've kept the car with McCarrolls for 6 years now, and since they've ditched Citroen, it might be just the time to get a more competitive quote.
Citroen vehicles use two types of TPMS systems: direct TPMS and indirect TPMS. Direct TPMS systems, used in for example the Citroen C4 Aircross, C-ZERO, Jumper etc. use TPMS sensors inside the wheel to report pressure data to the vehicle’s ECU in real time. Direct systems are more accurate and reliable to indicate which tire is underinflated.
