Look for and clean as appropriate then reinstall (Negative terminal LAST). FYI 12.1 volts is a very low battery. After checking terminals take motorcycle for a long ride (30 min to an hour out of town). If you are able to monitor your system voltage while riding do so. Should be mid to upper 14’s.
